Chris has spent more than 16 years working in conveyor belting and vulcanising, and that experience shows in the way he runs the Scotland side of the business. He understands the pressures sites are under, how tight shutdown windows can be, and the importance of getting the job done properly the first time.
As Scottish Operations Manager, Chris looks after the day-to-day running of our service teams across the region. That includes organising works, preparing RAMS and quotations, making sure the engineers are properly equipped for each job, and working directly with customers to keep projects moving.
It’s a role that requires strong technical knowledge, good organisation, and the ability to deal with the realities of site work — breakdowns, tight deadlines, and challenging conditions. Chris handles all of that while keeping the standards of work exactly where they need to be.
Customers trust Chris because they know he understands the equipment, the process, and the pressures of keeping a plant running. Whether it’s a breakdown call, planned belt work, or supporting longer-term maintenance improvements, he brings a calm, practical approach to getting the job sorted.
Thanks Chris for the work you put in and the standard you set for the Scotland operation.
McCloskey TS4065 – Belt Installation
Another job completed by the team installing a new eco-sustainable 39.650 IC 1000/3 ply C15 belt on a McCloskey TS4065.
Once fitted, the belt was fully tracked, tensioned and run to make sure everything was aligned correctly and operating as it should before handing the machine back.
Mobile stackers like the TS4065 see plenty of abuse, so getting the belt installed and set up properly from the start makes a big difference to reliability and belt life.
Good work from the lads getting this one sorted and the machine back running.
