Harry Beverley
Employee Spotlight | Technical Capability & Resilience
At Hoverdale, we take pride in recognising the people behind the work — and Harry Beverley is a great example of the standards we aim to uphold across the business.
Working across our sites and customer locations, Harry plays a key role in delivering practical, hands-on engineering support. His day-to-day work spans conveyor belting, mechanical repairs, fabrication, and on-site problem solving — all carried out with a strong focus on quality, safety, and getting the job done right first time.
His capability and approach have already been recognised within the industry, including being named Materials Handling Engineers’ Association Young Engineer of the Year 2024, and runner-up in the Solids Handling and Processing Association Apprentice of the Year 2024 awards.
Outside of work, Harry is a dedicated rugby player, and Hoverdale is proud to sponsor both him and his local club, Nuneaton Rugby Football Club. After breaking his leg last August, he has shown real determination in his recovery and is now working towards returning to the pitch in September.
This combination of technical ability, resilience, and attitude reflects exactly what we value at Hoverdale.
Matt Wednesday
Another successful project completed within a quarry environment.
Our team supplied, fitted, and cold vulcanised 15 metres of 1050mm wide, 4-ply conveyor belt on a Finlay mobile feeder conveyor.
In addition to the installation, guards on the rear of the machine were rebuilt to improve safety and compliance, followed by full belt tensioning and tracking to ensure correct alignment and efficient operation.
This type of work is critical in quarry applications, where downtime and poor belt performance can quickly impact productivity.
Delivered safely, efficiently, and right first time — with a very satisfied customer at the end of the job.
