Waste Recycling

The waste and recycling sector depends on heavy-duty conveyor systems to process materials efficiently. Conveyor breakdowns in recycling facilities can lead to major processing delays, increased waste accumulation, and regulatory challenges.

Hoverdale’s services in this sector include:

  • Durable conveyor belting solutions – Designed to withstand the abrasive nature of waste processing.
  • Routine and reactive maintenance – Extending the lifespan of essential equipment and preventing unexpected failures.
  • On-site repairs and vulcanising – Minimising disruptions in 24-hour recycling operations.

With our expertise in wear-resistant solutions, we help recycling plants improve throughput while reducing overall maintenance costs.

Food & Drink Production

Scotland’s food and beverage manufacturing industry relies on conveyor systems for ingredient handling, processing, and packaging. Downtime in this sector not only affects productivity but also impacts product quality and supply chain commitments.

Hoverdale provides:

  • Food-grade conveyor belting – Ensuring compliance with industry hygiene standards.
  • Preventative maintenance – Reducing unexpected stoppages and ensuring continuous production.
  • Specialist installation and repairs – Supporting automated food processing lines with tailored belting solutions.

By working closely with food producers, distilleries, and packaging plants, we deliver industry-specific expertise that keeps production lines running at peak efficiency.

Quarrying & Mining

The quarrying and aggregates sector operates in some of the most demanding environments, where conveyor systems are subject to extreme wear and heavy loads. Equipment failure in this industry can result in significant financial losses and operational delays.

Hoverdale’s solutions include:

  • High-performance conveyor belting – Designed for heavy-duty applications with superior resistance to impact and abrasion.
  • Mechanical maintenance and component replacement – Ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Site-specific vulcanising services – Strengthening belt joints to withstand the rigours of mining operations.

By providing robust, engineered solutions, we help quarries and mining facilities maintain high productivity levels with minimal downtime.
