I have been extremely impressed with Matt and his Hoverdale team, who took over the maintenance of plant and equipment at the Biffa Seaham site last year. In January of this year, we had a major outage which involved the Hoverdale team in a very short space of time, providing bespoke engineered solutions to improve our plastic float tank process, screening shafts made and fitted within two weeks, and a number of conveyor refurbs to include, repair of conveyor structures, supply fit and vulcanise of new conveyor belts.

I worked with Matthew and the Hoverdale team on a project for Viridor. Conveyor belts spilling materials, waste and bottles being carried back into underbelly guards, which was unsightly, caused maintenance issues, with regular stoppages to remove and clean them, and of course, a fire hazard too. I contacted Hoverdale regarding fitting motorised brush cleaners; they quickly attended the site, measured up, and produced CAD drawings for approval with a project plan fully itemised quote;
