Hoverdale’s conveyor belt rollers are a specialised set of products that solve problems that others do not. Our rollers work as conveyor trackers: where material drops onto a conveyor, the rollers move, allowing materials to move to the middle rather than dropping off the side.
Our conveyor rollers are self-cleaning and easy to replace. The average life of our rollers is 4 years, which many of our new customers find very surprising.
Hoverdale have a long history of working with conveyor rollers and of helping clients to implement the correct solutions.
We supplied the rollers for the British side of the excavation work of the Channel Tunnel as well as consultancy & advice on maintaining operations on what is one of mankind’s greatest engineering achievements.
Common Customer Objectives
Our customers have a number of objectives and find that our conveyor rollers can solve problems that others cannot. They are looking for
- A clog-free solution that saves maintenance costs.
- A solution that will prevent build-up of material that can lift traditional rollers out of the frame & damage the belt.
- Reducing the time to change rollers to 10 seconds from minutes or even hours.
We recognise that conveyor clogging can cause damage to conveyor systems and are a pet peeve of many site engineers. Our Limberollers prevent clogging due to the way that they are made: because they are flexible in every respect, every time the roller rotates, material just flakes off. Furthermore, there are sealed bearings in either end of the roller so that material cannot clog it.
