Conveyor Belts

Hoverdale conveyor belts – Specialists in providing and supplying hard metals and wear-resistant products for conveyor belt products and equipment for all bulk material handling environments.

We manufacture conveyor belts, conveyor belt cleaning equipment, special steels and wear plates, shear knives and blades and offer a grinding and precision service – to all specifications. Every conveyor belt is Made in Britain.

Standard EP Conveyor Belts

It is common for belts to have three layers: a top cover, a carcass and a bottom cover. EP conveyor belts use high-performance polyester/nylon canvas as carcass with advanced properties such as high strength, low elongation and corrosion resistance.

Heat-Resistant Conveyor Belt

The heat resistance conveyor belt is made of multilayer EP/NN fabric covered with the high temperature or heat-resistant rubbers, which are bonded through high-temperature vulcanisation; it is used to convey high-temperature materials, such as coke, cement, clinker and hot casting etc.

Fire-Resistant Conveyor Belts

Fire-resistant conveyor belts possess a self-extinguishing design and prevent fire from spreading over the entire belt. To ensure the flame-retardant properties of these fire-resistant belts, we conduct various testing according to ISO standards.

Acid-Alkali Resistant Conveyor Belts

Acid-Alkali resistant conveyor belt, or Chemical resistant conveyor belt, is suitable for such acid-alkali working conditions as paper mills, phosphate fertiliser plants, sea salt industries, and cement Industries.

Oil-Resistant Conveyor Belts

Oil-resistant conveyor belt, a range specially designed for conveying of oily/greasy products or products impregnated with hydrocarbons, vegetable or animal fats, mineral oils, solvents, diluted acids, etc., in a temperature range between -15 and +100. The unique material characteristics of this product group enable it to transport materials containing oil and grease, such as vegetable fats, mineral oils and solvents. Adverse effects such as swelling of the rubber are minimised by use.

Steel Cord Conveyor Belts

The cord is made of specially developed high-carbon steel. during the manufacture of the belt, these cords are held longitudinally in a single layer under pre-determined tension to ensure proper alignment. The cords are zinc coated to ensure superior bonding between cord and rubber as well as to protect the same against corrosion.

Chevron Conveyor Belts

For gradient angles of more than 18°, bulk material cannot be transported using ordinary textile conveyor belts. Chevron conveyor belts are used instead. As there are many different application areas, we offer a portfolio of different patterns to choose from. For individual client requests regarding the height or type of profile, tailor-made solutions can be realised.

Hoverdale also provides chevron belts in RipStop/Breaker version, as well as in cross-rigid, heat-resistant, flame-retardant and oil-resistant quality.

Sidewall Conveyor Belts

A Corrugated Sidewall Belt Conveyor is continuous material handling equipment which uses a belt with corrugated sidewalls and horizontal cleats for loading and unloading material horizontally or aslant, or vertically, such as bulk material, lump material, etc.

Hoverdale can order any length or size of sidewall belt needed.

Read about our award-winning HALO technology

Following intensive research and testing in 2019, we produced an industry-leading, multi award-winning cutting-edge technology called the HALO – Hoverdale Automated Linked Technology

The Hoverdale team were the first company in the market to bring condition monitoring to belt cleaning technology. The main competitors quickly followed this, however, our team went one step further – not only can the HALO systems identify and report information when the system has a worn blade, but it has the ability to report on many more issues and can also fully automatically remove blockages by disengaging from the belt and cleaning its own blade. It can then reengage with the belt to the correct tension all whilst the plant is running.

This became a game changer. The patent-pending technology is now rolled out to a number of operations in a number of industries, including IBA, Waste Recycling and Mining and Aggregates.
